Per i ragazzi (medie e liceo)

The course is aimed at middle and high school boys, between the ages of about 11 and 18, who will work in two separate groups. At this age, boys grow up rapidly and face great physical and psychological changes. Yoga practice according to B.K.S. Iyengar's method helps boys cope with this important stage of growth and make the best use of their great energy. In boys, the practice of asanas contributes to harmonious development of the body by lengthening muscles and improving joint function; corrects posture and improves alignment in cases of scoliosis; and properly stimulates the circulatory and endocrine systems that regulate development. Not only that, through practice children learn to have greater self-control by reducing the tendency to mood swings typical of adolescence and to improve their ability to concentrate and introspect, with breathing exercises (pranayama) and guided meditation.
The course is preparatory to all sports disciplines and is suitable for preventing injury and improving performance in competitive sports.
