The course is suitable for both beginners and students who already have experience practicing yoga according to the IYENGAR® method. The aim of the course is to introduce and consolidate the correct actions of the feet, legs, shoulders and arms when performing asanas. Mainly standing asanas are performed and actions for performing seated, forward, backward and inverted stretching asanas are introduced. Through correct foot and leg work, the student learns to correct the position of the pelvis and to extend and create space in the lumbar part of the spine. Working on the shoulders and arms, the student learns to stabilize the shoulder blades creating mobility and space in the dorsal and cervical spine.
The course is preparatory to all sports disciplines.
