Età matura

The course is intended for all those who are approaching yoga at an older age, and also for those who need a more leisurely pace. All yoga postures are practiced (standing, seated, forward-stretching, backward-stretching, twisting and inverting asanas) and pranayama (breathing exercises) are introduced, in the manner best suited to each student's needs.
The student understands the importance of spinal health and posture for the whole body and in all circumstances of life; he or she experiences that asana and pranayama benefit the circulatory system, heart and other vital organs, alleviate menopausal symptoms, and combat inertia and stiffness of the body. Gradually, as the practice progresses, the student discovers how yoga opens and expands the mind and soul.
